Pray for our Brother Jack Robertson's who faces serious health issues.
Pray for Benjamin Purvis, Brother Jack Robertson's grandson who suffers from hemophilia.
Please pray for our Brother Roy Lehrman who is recovering from a severe break in his right wrist...he is right handed and the recovery is long and painful.

Council Meets the 1st Tuesday of Every Month in Flannery O'Connor Hall ~ Rosary Prayed at 6:30pm ~ Meeting at 7:00pm
Brother Knights,
Well it’s dawned on me that I have not written a new message for several months. Time has been flying by and it is now May!
What happened? Well, if you just look at what has been accomplished in 2012, it’s been a great collection of really good things. I hope everyone can take some pride in what has been accomplished in the past few months. For a small Council, we are remarkably busy!
Think about it...we have addressed the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade…completed our Membership Renewal …supported our District with the GK Meeting in Macon and Camp Inspire…completed our Free Throw Contest, again with a State winner…organized a Blood Drive…finished the Semi-Annual Audit…had a wonderful “We Care Night” and Founders Day Celebration…focused attention on the Day of the Unborn Child… worked a Baby Shower for Pregnancy Center…and had a great success with 6 weeks of Lenten Fish Fry’s
We are now wrapping up our Sparta Cemetery Work…completed Special Olympics with an extra donation from our successful State KofC raffle tickets…revised and triggered our Scholarship Program…had a terrific Vidalia Onion sale …launched our Baby Bottle Boomerang program…and prepared a New Officer Slate.
Wow! I’m out of breath! Everyone should take a pause and realize what an impact this little Council has on our parish and the local community. It’s quite something to think about once you add it all up.
So, as we begin to wrap up this Fraternal year, let say thanks to everyone for all the work and support.

Family of Month March 2012
Dick McCoy, receives on behalf of his bride Pat, the Family of the Month award from GK John. Dick and Pat are always willing to give of their time for the various needs of the council and our parish. They can be seen at almost every event held in our parish, and are often times in charge or help with the event. Thank you for your service to our Lord and to our council and parish.

Grand Knight Geist has dubded Brother Pat Beer as the Onion King. Pat's has been chairman of the Valdia Onion sale for several years and this year was a big success with over 8,000# of onions sold. Thanks Brother Pat!
